Presentation
SOA Role in Enterprise Architecture and Architecture Framework SOA is both a logical offspring and a symbiosis of many IT endeavours, trends and architectural paradigms. SOA has a great potential for improving IT Throughput and the agility of business. A conceptual architecture framework has to enable modelling TOGAF-based abstract views, integration layers as well as business domains. The middle-out approach taking advantage of the central position of services within the architecture framework appears to be an effective way for implementing a SOA as a pivotal and integral part of an enterprise architecture.
