 Gerard Coes works as Business Unit Manager Technology at Capgemini Academy. He is responsible for the units Business & ICT and Technology. These units provide trainings, training curricula and professionalization projects to clients on the specialty areas of Architecture, Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Application Development, Testing, IT Service Management and IT Governance.
Before joining Capgemini he studied Business Administration at the Technical University of Twente in the Netherlands. In his career Mr. Coes has been involved in many IT project engagements. 10 years ago his interest in the professional and personal development of IT professionals made him join Capgemini Academy, the training institute of Capgemini in the Netherlands.
Central to his work is anticipating on the ever changing education needs, new training styles, globalization and certification. They are strategic issues which he implements in the new and existing training curricula and service offerings of Capgemini Academy.
In 2007 he published three articles in the Dutch IT magazine Computable on the topics: Learning by Practicing, Certification and Alterative IT careers. |
