Applying TOGAF: Understanding the Framework, Advantages and Lessons Learned
The presentation will outline the advantages of using TOGAF in its entirety or just parts of it as well as the lessons learned with respect to applying it. TOGAF is a rich source of architecture resources and is more than just the Architecture Development Method. TOGAF is a versatile methodology but relies on the Enterprise Continuum to be traversed before it is applied within an organization. It is also descriptive rather than a prescriptive methodology. Understanding these features are critical to a successful implementation. This presentation will address these issues so that users go in fully aware of how to best leverage TOGAF in all of its dimensions.
