Door-to-Door Vans provide service between SFO and passenger-specified locations in shared ride vans. Depending on the number of passengers, door-to-door vans may make multiple stops.  Van service is available on a walk-up basis. Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) rail system takes you directly from the International Terminal at San Francisco Airport to downtown San Francisco.  BART fares ($5.35 to downtown San Francisco) are very economical when compared with other modes of travel to and from the San Francisco International airport.  The heart of San Francisco is only a 1/2 hour ride away.
