  Jane Varnus, Enterprise Architect, Bank of Montreal, Canada  


Jane Varnus is an Architecture Consultant for the Enterprise Architecture Department of the Bank of Montreal, in Toronto, Canada.  She has been engaged in various capacities of IT support for the business, including technical systems audit, developing requirements for organizational change, and information and technical architecture. She first became involved with The Open Group in 2003 when BMO was exploring architecture methodologies and frameworks.  She is currently vice-chair of the Architecture Forum.

Prior to joining the Bank of Montreal, Jane trained with IBM UK Ltd. as a Systems Engineer as part of  its Banking Branch, and worked various parts of Europe in manufacturing-related industries.

Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brock University. She is TOGAF 8 certified.
