Enterprise Architecture Practitioners Conference The Open Group
Judy Cerenzia, Sr. Program Manager, Videon Central, Inc.

Ms. Judith L. Cerenzia is a Sr. Program Manager at Videon Central, Inc., a company that focuses on state of the art digital video technology to design and manufacture custom entertainment products including DVD players, Blu-ray players, and HD displays for high-end vertical markets.

Ms. Cerenzia obtained a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Acoustics from The Pennsylvania State University.  In her former position as a Research Engineer at the Applied Research Laboratory/The Pennsylvania State University (ARL/PSU), she served as ARL/PSU's Program Manager for the Office of Naval Research's Torpedo Enterprise Advanced Modeling and Simulation (TEAMS) Initiative. She and the TEAMS consortium used the Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Process as a guideline for developing an architecture framework, interface standards and requirements to enable sharing of model components used by the torpedo modeling community.

Because Judy and the TEAMS consortium also used Object Management Group (OMG) specifications such as Business Motivation Metamodel (BMM) to document business requirements, and adopted Model Driven Architecture (MDA) philosophies inherent in Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML) for interface standards, Judy served as the chair of proof of concept effort for the TOGAF/MDA Synergy Project.  She presented TEAMS briefs at several venues over the last five years including The Open Group IT Architecture Practitioner Conferences, OMG workshops, and multiple Navy Program Offices.
