  Security Forum Agenda    
The Security Forum meeting in Houston will run from Tuesday through Friday, October 18-21. Members are encouraged to attend the Monday plenary on Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).

Agenda highlights:

  • On the Tuesday Oct 18th, the SOA plenary that day starts with a session on "Making SOA Secure". Among the presenters in this session is Stephen Whitlock - Security Forum member from The Boeing Company.
  • On the Wednesday Oct 19th we will cover our Identity Management Forum activities. Members of the Security Forum are also full members of this new Identity Management Forum. The IdM projects include:
    • a standards framework for identity management (joint with INCITS)
    • architectures for identity management
    • design patterns for identity management
    • identity management catalog
  • A 2nd joint meeting with the Messaging Forum on Certificate Policy Assurance - to follow up actions from the previous meeting and assess what further contributions the Security Forum members can usefully make to this work.
  • Progress on Security Forum projects:
    • Trust Models
    • Architecting Security using TOGAF-ADM
    • Framework for Control of Electronic Chattel Paper

Note that The Open Group's Houston offsite dinner is on the Tuesday evening.
