Scripps Naturalist-Guided Whale Watching

Come aboard with Birch Aquarium at Scripps, as you become part of the longest mammal migration in the world! See the magnificent gray whale travel south to its birthing grounds in Baja California, Mexico and north again to its feeding grounds in cold Arctic waters.

Scripps naturalists will be on twice-daily cruises to point out gray whales migrating past San Diego on their roundtrip journey from the Bering Sea to Baja California, Mexico's breeding grounds. Be on the lookout for all marine life sightings that may include seals, sea lions, dolphins, migrating birds, and more. Naturalists will also have gray whale biofacts to show-and-tell during the cruise. Refreshments can be purchased onboard. Bring warm clothing and your binoculars for a memorable whale watching experience aboard a San Diego Harbor Excursion vessel, leaving daily from San Diego Harbor.

Please call Birch Aquarium at 858-534-7336 for more information.
