  Sam Ishak, Director, Strategy and Enterprise Architecture, First Canadian Title  


Sam Ishak is currently the Director, Strategy and Enterprise Architecture of First Canadian Title. In addition, he is the treasurer of the Toronto Chapter of the Association of Open Group Enterprise Architects (AOGEA)

Mr. Ishak has a B.Sc. degree in computer science and he is Licensed Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEng.). He is a Certified Master IT Architect by the Open Group.

Previously, Sam was the Enterprise Architect of Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC).

Case Study: Extended Enterprise Architecture

How can you deliver business services that go beyond the boundary of your Enterprise?

How TOGAF™ Methods approach was used to provide target state and roadmap for delivering a business services utilizing the competencies of four companies.

This initiative started with a problem statement “How we can partner with three companies to provide Integrated Lending Solution to maximize our offerings to our lender customers?”

The case study will show how did we used the TOGAF Methods to define the problem (Architecture Vision), Stakeholder Concerns (Architecture Requirements), Architecture Roadmap. The presentation will share the project plan, major issues and their resolution, lessons learnt and results to date. Most importantly the case study will show that to deliver value?
