Presentation

The OMG Perspective

The OMG does not develop a SOA Reference Architecture nor a SOA ontology.  Its goal is to create standards that allow for all things "SOA" (in this case) to be modeled. Nevertheless, SOA standardization work is relevant to and impacts on SOA reference frameworks. This presentation will discuss the most relevant work, and in particular the SoaML extension to UML for modeling in a SOA environment, and its impact.
