Open Pegasus

Open Pegasus is a project developing an open source implementation of the WBEM standards developed by the Distributed Management Task Force. It will provide a common manageability infrastructure which can be used by management systems to locate and manage resources throughout an organizations IT infrastructure. OpenPegasus is being deployed on a wide variety of computer platforms and will be available as part of the standard operating system distribution from several vendors. This presentation will give an overview of the technology involved and the processes under which it is developed
