Plenary Session Electronic Commerce Agenda

The purpose of this information plenary session is to help members to identify some of today's key issues and concerns in this important area. Speakers from Bank of America, Barclays Bank, T. RowePrice and SABRE Labs will present their practical experiences and current thinking, bringing out the issues that must be taken into account in the implementation of Electronic Commerce applications. Panel sessions, facilitated by Anne Thomas of Patricia Seybold Group, will further consider this important applications area, extracting some key findings. The intention is to sharpen members' awareness of the key issues in this area and, importantly, to provide guidance to everyone working within The Open Group as to the challenges that the IT DialTone must address as it progresses form concept to reality.
