The OGC is dedicated to the industry consensus development
of interface and encoding specifications that provide a framework that
enables geographic (geospatial) data, applications, and services interoperability.
Over the last three years, our work has increasing focused on issues related
to geospatial interoperability and Web Services. My presentation will
describe the current OGC Web Services related activities as well as to
present a set of requirements for the non-geospatial of Web Services that
are required to support OGC goals and objectives for interoperability
and Web Services.
