Currently Pegasus operates in conventional server environments. There is a recognized need to identify the requirements for migrating the Pegasus open source implementation into RT&ES environments, and that the EMF does not possess the expertise to develop those requirements. The long-term aim is to create a joint team to port the implementation into these new environments.

Expected outcome:

The Expected outcome at the Boston Meeting is to:

• Expose RT&ESF members to the technologies being developed in the EMF (specifically Pegasus) which are applicable to their environment.
• Raise awareness in the RT&ESF membership and recruit people willing to contribute to defining the requirements for Pegasus in the RT&ES environment.
• Expose EMF membership to RT&ESF requirements for management.
