This session will be for the DIF to conduct forum business. It will be chaired by Winston Bumpus (Novell, DIF Chair), and will include:

• a round of introductions;
• review of the agendas of the Directory sessions (Directory Interoperability Reports and Planning, Directory and Web Services, Directory Market Report, Evolving the LDAP Brand, and The Future of Directory Interoperability);
• the new membership structure of The Open Group (presentation by Chris Harding);
• the DIF within the new membership structure (group discussion);
• reports from Area Directors and Working Group Chairs:
  • Directory Certification (Alan Clark, Novell)
  • Mobile and Directory (Ed Harrington, Nexor)
  • Directory Interoperability Marketing (Wendy Verbaas, by teleconference)
