William A Estrem

Bill Estrem is an Associate Professor in the College of Business at the University of St. Thomas where he holds the Honeywell Endowed Chair in Global Technology Management and serves as the Director of the Technology Management concentrations in the MBA program.

Prior to joining the College of Business, he worked as an industry analyst with D. H. Brown Associates and as a consulting specialist in 3M's Information Technology division. Throughout his career, he has been active in professional organizations and industry groups. He served as the Chairman of the Open Software Foundation's End User Forum and cochair of the Open Group's Customer Council. At present, Bill is a member and past chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Computers and Automated Systems Association, an affiliate of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Securities Industry Middleware Council and the Twin Cities Electronic Commerce Forum.
