Rob Walker

Rob Walker is currently the Program Manager at the Defense Information Systems Agency for the Department of Defense’s Common Operating Environment or COE. The COE team is responsible for producing the common infrastructure of software for most of the department’s Command and Control systems. His background has been in system software and defense C2 systems for past 18 years. As a Naval officer and acquisition professional Rob had positions in technical engineering positions for real-time combat systems, weapons control systems, and C4I software systems. He recently joined DISA from industry where he had continued to work in DoD systems engineering and support for the COE after his retirement from the Navy in 1999. Rob has Masters degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration.
