London Agenda

  This group is concentrating on building a coherent open systems picture of the user's desktop, including emerging desktop technologies (e.g., Java and ActiveX) and paradigms (e.g., NCRP), user interface, security, interoperability and standards.

The London meeting will address the fact and fiction with security in Java and Active X, with discussions planned by Microsoft, JavaSoft and Netscape. The evolution of Java AWT standardization and how it relates to other User Interface technologies; the status of NCRP and customer perspectives on the desktop will also be presented.
