Wes Kinnear joined the San Francisco office of HRO in 2002. His practice
emphasizes commercial litigation, intellectual property and labor and
employment law. He has experience with civil and criminal trials and appeals,
business litigation, intellectual property litigation, unfair competition,
media law, First Amendment law, civil rights law, securities litigation,
antitrust, fiduciary liability, lender liability, professional malpractice,
directors and officers liability, labor and employment, environmental
law and entertainment litigation. In his years of practice, Wes Kinnear
has resolved lawsuits through trials, appeals, arbitrations, mediations,
summary judgement and negotiated settlements. He has successfully represented
advertisers, media companies and other organizations in First Amendment
and intellectual property litigation. Prior to joining HRO, he was a member
at Kinnear Law Firm, P.C.
in San Francisco.
Wes has a B.A. from Harvard College, With High Honors, Phi Beta Kappa,
1978, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, With Honors, 1986.
