Kazuaki Minami is Senior Research Project Director, Automotive Software Platform And Development Process, Toyota-InfoTechnology Center Co. Ltd.
Since 2005 Mr Minami has been responsible at Toyota for research in automotive software platforms and software development processes. Immediately prior to this his research focus was in automotive HMI applications.
Mr Minami graduated from Kyoto University in 19080, and then completed an MSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer science at MIT Graduate School of Engineering in 1989.
Upon graduation his initial areas of research included: system design and hardware design of automotive displays; research in control systems and robotics; and the development of telecommunication devices and telematics.
