Kurt Kammerer
co-founded VI Agents in March 2003. VI Agents provides software
for adaptive processes in logistics, supply, distribution
and manufacturing networks.
In 1996, Mr. Kammerer co-founded living systems, a provider of agent technology, and served as its CEO and President until January 2003. Since 1996, Mr. Kammerer has developed the emerging market for adaptive IT in business networks. His work in the optimization of complex and dynamic networks has made him a recognized contributor to logistics and supply chain industries with their time-sensitive and adaptive processes. In 2001 and 2002, Mr. Kammerer was honored as a "Technology Pioneer" by the World Economic Forum. In 2002, he received the Asia-Europe Young Entrepreneurs Forum (AEYEF) award in Singapore. He was a finalist as Technology Change Leader 2002 in the Wharton Infosys Business transformation award. Mr. Kammerer holds a Business and IT degree from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. He is a member of the Industry Board of the Collaborative Research Centre for Self-steering Logistics in Bremen. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of Black Forest University. |
