  Leif Arne Rones, EMEA Lead of Accenture's Enterprise Architecture Practice

Leif-Arne Rones is the lead for Accenture's European Enterprise Architecture practice. He has more than fifteen years of experience delivering of mission-critical, high-volume IT-systems in complicated enterprise environments.

He has worked on engagements across multiple industries including telecommunications, financial services, retail and government. He is currently the chief technical architect for the four-year national pension reform program in Norway which is planned to go live on 1.1.2010.

Maximizing Enterprise Architecture for High Performance

A flexible enterprise architecture provides organizations with an accurate picture of their IT environment and enables their ability to support new business processes, adapt to changing market conditions and leverage new emerging technologies.  In this session, Leif Arne Rones will address the importance of having an enterprise architecture that is not only a blueprint that aligns information technology to the dynamic business environment but uncovers gaps between business strategies and the technologies required to enable them. He will stress the importance of a dynamic enterprise architecture to reveal the impact of emerging technology an organization's specific c environment before it occurs, to manage transition and to maximize the impact of the innovation. This presentation will discuss key steps for ensuring success and will highlight examples of work Accenture has done across industries to help organizations overcome challenges and achieve high performance with enterprise architecture.
