Bill Estrem is principal of Metaplexity Associates, an education
and consulting firm that concentrates in the area of Enterprise
Information Architecture. Throughout his career, Bill has been
actively engaged in education and consulting in the areas of
Enterprise Information Management and Strategic Information
Systems planning.
He has been actively engaged in professional organizations
and industry groups that are committed to promoting open systems
computing and industry standards. He has been affiliated with
the development of TOGAF since its origination in 1994. He
is currently the chairman of The Open Group Architecture Forum,
and has served on the Board of Governors for The Open Group.
Bill is an adjunct associate professor in the International
MBA program at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. He previously
served as an Associate Professor in the College of Business
at the University of St. Thomas where he held the Honeywell
Endowed Chair in Technology Management.
