Bob WeismanRobert Weisman MSc PEng, PMP is the CGI Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice Leader and is based in Ottawa, Canada. With EA experience in Australia, Canada and the US as both a consultant and public servant/military for more than 30 years he has used a wide range of EA Frameworks in both the private and public sectors.

His background is plans, operations and knowledge-based systems. He uses EA as a crucial adjunct to plans and direction as a means of establishing the requisite environment to enable the advanced decision support necessary for integrated service delivery, crisis response and competitive advantage.

Stream A1: TOGAF Case Studies in Government
This presentation will provide a resume of the application of TOGAF in selected US State and Canadian Federal Government engagements. Lessons Learned and recommendations for future use will also be discussed as well as how TOGAF works in conjunction with other EA Frameworks.

Stream A3:Realizing the Business Vision through Enterprise Architecture
Introducing the use of Architecture to structure both Corporate and IM/IT Strategic plans, enabling the business to transform in all dimensions and leverage innovative IM/IT capabilities. Mention will be made of how EA Maturity will enable effective business models and reduce the risk of outsourcing.
