Presentation

Architecture Life Cycle - tangible value matters!

The Key Message: Enterprise Architecture is not about models.

How did an Organization  take Enterprise Architecture Life Cycle and TOGAF Methods approach to start their EA Practice and demonstrated tangible business value of EA to the CFO and COO  within 3 months.

This initiative  started with a problem statement from the CIO  “We have PMO, we have ITIL and now you want EA. Does any of this have any value or is it just churn for the sake of it?”

The case study will show how did we define the problem (Architecture Vision), Stakeholder Concerns (Architecture Requirements), Architecture Roadmap (Architecture Report) and Value Realization Model. The presentation will share  the project plan, major issues and their resolution, lessons learnt and results to date. Most importantly the case study will show that to deliver value, you don’t need to rip-out what you have, rather work with what you know?.

What will you take away?
