Enterprise Architecture Case study : Reusable SOA for Cross Industry solutions
Creating a reusable Enterprise Architecture in any industry is a challenge since it involves different software products, hardware products, mandated industry standards like MITA, DoDAF that the solution architecture needs to be compliant with. In addition to this, some of the factors to take into consideration are: business necessities, customer requirements, software product architecture, software product interdependencies, deployment necessities, customer tactical and strategic plans, etc.

In this session I plan to examine two customer accounts where an SOA based solution was deployed to address specific customer business problem. Each one of the customer operates in a different industry and by examining each customer situation, we will verify the different techniques involved in creating these architectures, methods to reuse them at other customer accounts, difficulties encountered, and abstract cross industry architecture templates.
