Presentation
SOA and Outsourcing
EDS has multiple offerings in BPO and industry segment solution market spaces. These offerings must satisfy three fundamental business requirements: global delivery capability, configurable end-to-end business process coverage, and utility economics as additional clients are added. From a technology perspective, these solutions include application integration, business process management, business intelligence, enterprise content management, and role-based portals and composite applications. The principles of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) provide a solid foundation for the applications that underlie these offerings. A BPO example will provide the context for a discussion of the business opportunities enabled by SOA. return to program
