Jason Uppal, P.Eng. is a chief architect of QRS (Canada) and is a Certified Master IT Architect by The Open Group.

He holds undergraduate degree in Engineering, graduate degree in Economics and post graduate diploma in Computer Science.

Currently, he is the program director for Integrated Enterprise Architecture, an education, training and mentoring program.

Enterprise Architecture and ITIL
Within IT Organizations the Enterprise Architecture, the IT Portfolio & Project Management and the Post Implementation Support (ITIL) all profess that their implementation will improve the contribution of IT investment portfolio to their organizations bottom line. Frequently however, these processes are spearheaded by different groups, with conflicting missions, mandates and drivers.

This presentation will link the Enterprise Architecture and ITIL and describe a set of common measures of value with balanced perspectives. Furthermore, the discussion will provide business case and a checklist to ensure long term sustainability of these programs.
