Enterprise Architecture in Retail - how Tesco is successfully adopting & governing a top-down IT Strategy & Framework
Until recently, Tesco architecture was driven though project requirements and the long-term IT strategy played little part in shaping the direction of IT solutions.

Now Tesco have invested in Enterprise Architecture as a discrete operation and are using it to shape their IT future. IT solutions are now benefiting from a joined up Business and IT Strategy and the Business Domain roadmaps that articulate the Business, Application, Information and Technology architecture change over the next few years. Tesco are aiming towards delivering an Operating model based on a repeatable set of Processes and Applications for their Global business. The articulation of this is being driven through their Enterprise Architecture to lead and govern Group IT strategy, standards and solutions.

This presentation describes the techniques & models used in this process.
