What does the Actionable
Enterprise Architecture team look like?
The Global 2000 companies are recognizing that the EA teams have a larger responsibility
to the business than just creating future state models. Enterprise companies
are holding accountable the Enterprise Architecture team for creating and maintaining
the “Answer Machine” for strategic planning of the business. More
and more, businesses are looking for the EA team to create and manage the aggregated
view of the enterprise as the authoritative source of information for visibility,
alignment and optimization.
We’ll discuss today’s successful Actionable
Enterprise Architecture teams, and their role as a cornerstone
of comprehensive, meaningful visibility to the enterprise.
We will explore each of the different roles within the EA
team, their responsibilities and needs, problems and goals.
We will conclude by defining the functional capabilities
of an EA Platform necessary to truly extend from future state
modeling to transforming the EA team into the corporate “Answer
Machine”.
