The Architectural Rules
of Engagement for Service-based Organizations
Organizations that are leveraging SOA techniques for systems development must
look beyond just aligning services to business processes for system longevity.
Project Management techniques, as well as Values Systems that control and mediate
human engagement within a workplace can surprisingly influence successful SOA
realization. This presentation provides a methodical approach to addressing
why SOA is more than just an alignment of “Services” to Business
Processes and how human rules of engagement can be applied to Service-based
Architectural designs, not only for organizational alignment, but for sustained
maintainability.
