The Disciplines of IT
Architecture - A Service Provider Perspective
PwC’s IT Effectiveness practice helps our clients
get the most out of their IT investments. We advise clients
in areas such as sourcing / procurement, service delivery
and management, IT projects, architecture, IT costing, IT
function management, and IT skills and people.
At PwC we use architecture in all the above areas to define
an end-to-end framework from business goals and requirements
through to detailed technical solutions. In this session
we will discuss some client examples where we have used architecture,
including TOGAF, to ensure that requirements traceability
is maintained, risks can be exposed and managed, the impact
of various technical approaches can be assessed, and a coherent
approach can be maintained across a number of distinct projects.
