InSOAP – Leveraging TOGAF in the Transition to SOA
Many companies experience a need of formal processes to progress into the service oriented world.

Infosys has developed InSOAP, a process which aims at supporting this transition. It helps articulating specific business and IT goals, in particular in the areas of flexibility, adaptability and IT landscape modernization. It provides a holistic approach towards analyzing and evaluating cost, risk and benefits.

Following the directions of the TOGAF ADM, InSOAP forges the development of an enterprise level architectural strategy through a rigorous approach to conceptualizing, modelling, layering and realizing services.

The presentation provides an overview of the InSOAP process, showing a path of transitioning to service orientation.
