  David Chassels — Procession plc    
David ChasselsDavid Chassels has over 30 years experience of both investing in and Processionadvising unquoted and smaller quoted companies. He was the Founder Chairman of Procession in 1994 and became CEO in November 2001. Procession is UK based with innovative software technology in its Task Orientated Application “TOA” that removes the disjoin between requirement and implementation in application development through the linking of people and tasks. He has written a number of papers about the importance of technology aligning people and their processes, which have been published in various journals.

Previously David was a Partner in BDO and spent 20 years with ICFC/3i where he was actively involved with many early stage companies as well as being lead advisor as a Director of 3i Corporate Finance in larger quoted and unquoted corporate transactions.

David has served on the Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and lives in Glasgow.

TOA Support Evolution of EAI and SOA
With the growing recognition that the current business software model is not sustainable in its current complex form, David Chassels will put forward a new proposition in a Task Orientated Application “TOA”. He will take the audience through the logic that has effectively separated Business Fundamentals which never change from the technology driven communications and architectures. By closing the gap between business and IT so it allows for faster production of agile applications which existing and new architectures need to support.
