Jean-Luc Lucas has spent most of his career with France Telecom Group, starting with telecommunications operations (1975) then moving on as Project Director for IS development (1988), Director of IT services operations (1994), and Director responsible for the design and development of IT infrastructures and solutions (1998) where he was also in charge of the ACHIMEDE programme that rebuilt France Telecom's Information System using IP technologies.
Since May 2004, Jean-Luc is responsible for driving and implementing, Group-wide,
the construction of platforms for network and IS services for France Telecom
as an integrated carrier and its 130 million customers (mass market, small and large businesses, and internal users).
Jean-Luc is today a recognised expert on large-scale IT projects and IS architecture. His book "An Internet Architecture for France Telecom's Information System" was published by Eyrolles in 2001. |
