Ian Prinsloo has been involved across all the domains of Enterprise Architecture for many years.
He has architecture experience from both consulting and corporate perspectives and is thus familiar with the many real world challenges that are faced on both sides. He has been at the coal face architecting solutions at various levels ranging from competitive strategy designs to coding technology systems, with pure process re-engineering somewhere in between.
In his previous role he was "Head of Technology" for Rand Merchant Bank, a leading Merchant Bank primarily based in South Africa, UK and Australia. Prior to this he was at Investec Bank, another leading investment bank, for 5 years where he mentored project managers and process and technology architects.
He began his career at Accenture in the early 1990's as was part of the Architecture Centre of Excellence. He used this background at his client sites to frame practical technology, process and strategy solutions.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Science (double major in Computer Science as well as Applied Maths) from University of the Witwatersrand, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wits Business School with particular focus on advanced financial electives. He is also a Full Member of Computer Society of South Africa.
