Vendors and resellers have named business process management (BPM) as one of the hottest choices and topics in the South African and European ICT communities. Organisations will always strive to improve their core business processes and competencies. One of the big problems that enterprises face is the vast amounts of money they spend on information systems (IS) and information technology (IT) that do not always show a return on business investment.  This paper explains how BPM technologies (which hold and drive business processes) can be incorporated or integrated into existing enterprise architectures; enabling business owners to grow their enterprise investments.
