Enterprise Architecture and SOA: Where is the ROI?

Enterprise Architecture is not just about mapping and standardising hardware and software any more. It's about services, events and return on investment (ROI).  Enterprise Architecture has suffered because of the perceived lack of ROI it provides and the costs associated with maintaining the architecture.

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) provides a framework within which real net value can be delivered to both the business and Information Technology (IT) areas of the organisation.  This session shows how enterprise architecture, underpinned with services and business process management, provides a major advance in application management and development, and demonstrates real ROI to the business.

TOGAF Lifecycle Management

TOGAF is not just about Enterprise Architecture.  Enterprise Architecture is an importance aspect of TOGAF but there are many other facets to consider.  Any complex environment is driven by requirements, architecture, decision support, configuration management and change lifecycles.  In this session, we discuss the various roles of people, tools, techniques and methodologies that address the complete TOGAF lifecycle.  We also examine the different stakeholders in an organization and look at their unique information needs from TOGAF.
