Presentation
The Open Group's Work in the SOA Field
The Open Group has formed a Working Group to develop and foster a common understanding of SOA in order to facilitate alignment between the business and information technology communities. It does this by conducting a work program to produce definitions, analyses, recommendations, reference models, and standards to assist business and information technology professionals within and outside of The Open Group to understand and adopt SOA. Dr Harding will explain the importance of SOA to realising The Open Group's vision of Boundaryless Information Flow, and describe the projects that are currently being undertaken by the Working Group to improve understanding and deployment of SOA.
