Presentation
Business and Information Architecture
Armscor took a radical approach to Enterprise Architecture. Firstly we stopped all projects as we found that any project would adversely affect our ability to manage EA. In fact EA is current the only show in town.

It took virtually 2 years to convince top management to buy into this project.

This presentation looks at 7 aspects that we at Armscor had to take into account get EA implemented in Armscor. They are

  1. Background
  2. Rationale for Enterprise Architecture
  3. Management buy in.
  4. Defining the Conceptual framework.
  5. Selecting the tool
  6. Defining the critical information needed to populate the various Architectures
  7. Creating the EA capability across the organisation
  8. Maintaining the EA team
  9. Managing change
