Howard
Hamilton, 53, first started working with computers as a student
at Wits University in 1969. In the early/mid seventies he
worked in Hersham, UK as part of a development team building
thick film processors for real time military applications.
This was essentially the start of micro-processors as we
know them today.
Upon returning to South Africa he joined Perseus Computers
where he sold mini computers into real time process control
type applications. Later he was a founder of Productivity
Software one of the pioneering companies in the software
business in South Africa.
Today Howard is Managing Director
of General DIGITAL, the Southern African distributor for
Telelogic.
Howard has a BSc from Wits University and is
a member if INCOSE.
