Onno Kluyt

 Onno is the director of the Program Management Office (PMO) for the Java
Community  Process (JCP) program. He manages the day to day operations
of the community and is responsible for its evolution.
The JCP is the
Java standards organization started by Sun Microsystems in December
1998 to evolve the Java technology by collaborating with the international
developer community on new Java specifications, reference implementations
and technology compatibility kits.
Before Onno headed up the program
office in 2000, he held various product marketing positions for Java.
Before joining Sun in 1997, Onno held positions in software
engineering and developer relations for Apple Computer and KPMG Peat Marwick
in the
USA, UK and the Netherlands.
