Java compatibility: the how and why of certification

One of the most important value propositions of the Java technology is compatibility. In this presentation Onno will be going into how the process for certifying one's Java technology implementation works, the relationships between the spec, reference implementation and test suite. Onno will also discuss why Sun choose this model and the role that the Java Community Process (JCP) plays.
