Ron Eller

Hewlett-Packard Company
Ron
Eller leads the Solution Alliances for the Enterprise Storage and Server
business, responsible for partner based infrastructure
and application solutions that extend the value of HP enterprise platforms.
His responsibilities include development of infrastructure and application
solution architectures, and managing the partner relationships, programs
and activities with independent software vendors and systems integrators
in support of application and other software solutions.
Prior to formation of the Enterprise Server and Storage business,
Mr. Eller led the Solutions division for the Industry Standard Server
business (for HP since
its acquisition of Compaq in 2002, and for Compaq before that time). During
2000 and 2001, along with Solutions he was responsible for strategy and
business development
for Compaq's industry standard server business. Previous to working in the
industry standard server team, Eller ran business operations, information
management,
eCommerce and customer satisfaction and quality for the Compaq Enterprise
Solutions and Services Group, which included all servers, storage, solutions
and services
of Compaq. Before that he held various positions in the head office working
on strategic and merger and acquisition matters, and had responsibility
for HR information
systems and compensation and benefits strategy and programs.
Prior to joining Compaq in 1994, Eller was responsible for
local or regional management consultancy practices focused on business
strategy and performance
linkage to strategy. He has done considerable work with troubled and bankrupt
companies, and across many industries.
Mr. Eller served as a Director of Encompys, Inc., an application
service provider in the financial services industry, from 2000 through
2002. Over the past 20
years, he has held various executive and board level positions with nonprofit
and community service organizations in the areas of economic development,
healthcare and community and land use planning. He holds a Masters degree
in Business
from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's degree in Professional
Aviation from
Purdue University.
