Moneygram InternationalChang PengChang Peng is the Enterprise Architect with MoneyGram International. In this position he is responsible for overall enterprise architecture program in support of business and IT. Specifically he has created the EA framework in terms of models and process, established the EA among senior management team as a common language in elaboration of large scale enterprise wise effort, and extended the EA into areas such as IT portfolio planning and management, PMO, business product development, business strategy etc.

He has extensive architecture experience in the past in financial, healthcare, insurance, retail, manufacture and airline industry, and his current interest and focus has been on how to effectively leverage EA program to support corporate business strategy.

He holds a M.S. degree in applied and computational mathematics from University of Minnesota, and a B.S. degree from Fudan University.

Enterprise Architecture in Support of Business Strategy
Enterprise architecture programs so far have been very successful within the IT world in providing and maintaining a central view of IT assets through IT governing process.

This presentation attempts to extend the EA beyond the IT boundary to support the corporate business strategy. Specifically the presentation will show how to make the EA model in the context of deep rooted business logic and how to link such EA model to business strategies. This way EA will play a more significant role as a common language among senior executive management team and step up a level in satisfy ing strategic business needs.

The presentation will also mention the relationship between such EA model and TOGAF.
