#DOWPinaki Ghosh has mostly worked as an Enterprise and Information Systems Architect for the last 9+ years but most of it was from the from the business side. I He enjoys the art of simplifying/decomposing complex structure without losing the characteristics produced by the complexity. It is the interaction of the various elements in a system which interestshim most. The non-linear behavior of systems often creates unpredictable future which is challenging. The idea is to find the few elements which are going to interact most predictably, trying to change / control the behavior of the whole system. Once you find these few elements then the analytics is done pair-wise.

He has also implemented 2 ERP system (End to End) and at this point he is involved with the upgrade of one of the world's largest ERP system. This has moved his focus to EA framework and he is trying to use the EA framework as the guiding tool for the implementation process.

Pinaki Ghosh has also published about a dozen conference and journal papers.

Developing Enterprise Business Object Libraries to support SOA
During transition from legacy architecture to Service Oriented Architecture, one of the critical things which most companies neglect is the Enterprise Object Library preparation. This object library will contain both business and IT objects categorized by international standards, unique artifact numbers and database identities. In order to support composite applications, the interoperability of services need to starts from inside the company. This is especially true for very large corporations where various departments act under non-centralized data stewardship. HeaDeveloping or adopting the schemas for these object libraries, along with developing the libraries and their communication channel with the business process and IT services, lays the foundation for the successful migration to SOA. The business objects may range from data entity to business activities.

This paper explores the relationship between the objects and the business and IT services and how the objects help define the domain of these services.
