Mats is an Enterprise Architect. He specialises in Enterprise Architecture and SOA within large enterprises.

Mats has been working in a variety of industry sectors such as Telco, Supply Chain and Defence either transforming them to Enterprise Architecture work practices or leading and performing enterprise architecture work.

Mats is involved in the development of the Capgemini Integrated Architecture Framework (IAF) . He is the vice-chair of the Open Group SOA Working Group responsible for all Open Group SOA projects. Mats is a frequent trainer of architecture methods and a speaker at international conferences on Enterprise Architecture and SOA.

After engineering school (MSc Electrical Engineering, Linköping  Institute of Technology ,1977) and university (MSc Computer Engineering, Santa Barbara ,1983) Mats has been working for consultancy organisations in Sweden and New Zealand .

The industry is claiming that Enterprise Architecture should be used to create SOA architectures. This presentation will give a view of how EA can be used on different levels (strategic, segment and solution) to create the SOA implementation within an organisation. On each level the presentation will discuss different types of activities and deliverables.
