Presentation
SOA Governance and Enterprise Architecture
There is much interest, as well as confusion about SOA Governance, what it really is, and how it relates to Enterprise Architecture (EA). The author has been on both sides of this equation, as he has led an Enterprise Architecture group at a large telecommunications firm and is now an SOA Governance specialist at IBM. His experience is that a well thought out and implemented SOA Governance plan not only is a critical element in a successful SOA program, but is a valuable ally to realization of the Enterprise Architecture vision. He will discuss the aspects of SOA Governance that relate to EA and how the two functions should work together.
