SercoNeil is an enterprise architect with a wide range of experience in technology strategy, architecture, planning, delivery and service management.  He specialises in assisting major organisations establish Enterprise Architecture capability and in developing associated delivery strategies.  He has has been the Director, Architecture & Consulting for a major Canadian Bank and served as Director of Technology Strategy for the Canadian Post Corporation.

As well as architecture, his experience includes service management and development/implementation of major programmes. He began as a systems engineer at IBM, worked for Digital Equipment leading the marketing of office systems and at Microsoft was the lead product manager across both  Microsoft Solutions Framework and the Microsoft Operations Framework, their structured approach to development, implementation and operations. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Service Management.

People-Led Enterprise Architecture
Enterprise Architecture is about business transformation and supports decisions that people make. This presentation makes the case for having stakeholders lead the EA programme and presents a model for identifying and working with these stakeholders. It explored the impact of this on the definition of the EA mission, planning and implementation. It explores the impact of corporate culture on how the EA team operate and the character of the enterprise architecture we implement.
