Martin Johnson is
Command Information Superiority Architectures Program Manager,
Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks
and Information Integration (ASD[NII]), and DoD Chief Information
Officer (CIO)
He has provided almost 32 years of
dedicated and highly decorated government service. Since
2002 he has served as the Deputy Project Manager, CISA.
Prior to this assignment, Mr. Johnson worked in the US.
Army Software Engineering Center — Washington; where
he was responsible for business and software development
activities. He initiated a number of highly successful projects
specializing in Knowledge Management and Data Warehousing.
He served as the Development Center’s Chief of Staff.
Mr. Johnson also served for 30 years in the Army, retiring
in 2001 after serving in a variety of assignment of increasing
responsibility culminating in his assignment as Chief of
Staff, 9th Theater Support Command.
